Reading a Syringe Correctly

Here is some handy information to keep close by.  You never know when you might need it!

Confused about using syringes?  Did you know that cc and ml mean the same thing? I use primarily 1 cc syringes but its handy to at least have a few 3 ml syringes on hand as well for administering medications.

You can purchase these syringes at most drugstores, from your Vet, or online, both with or without the needles.

The first mark is zero, do not worry about what is in the tip of the syringe, it is waste and is not counted because it doesn't come out anyway.

IF YOU ARE EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT IN QUESTION ABOUT GETTING THE DOSE OF MEDICATION DRAWN UP CORRECTLY, CALL YOUR VETERINARIAN,  A FELLOW REHABBER OR A PHARMACY!!!!
